Zev scanned the inside of the workshop, familiar by then with its particular mess. Various tools were scattered across the floor and other available flat surfaces. Materials and parts mixed together outside bins.[break][break]

And there, on the workbench, was the broken Pokegear.[break][break]

"Have you done this simulation before?" the Beast asked his associate, Amor Rose.[break][break]

Whether the Head Scientist was as familiar with the scenario or not, however, did not change that they had only two choices.[break][break]

"I've repaired the Pokegear and also destroyed it, so it doesn't matter to me what we do. You're the one gathering the data, after all."

It was an unlikely pairing someone that he didn't have much contact with, but he wanted to do this simulation more. So he wasn't going to be picky.

"I have....Last time I fixed the gear, and kept it throughout the entire simulation, but nothing happened...." Amor frowned a bit, as he had hoped that something would happen. If something would reach out, but he knew better than to get his hopes up. "Might as well destroy it this time....At least this way I can clear both ways....Since you've done both you can point out any abnormalities." Having someone who had done both already was a boon to him.

They would make his data collection go smoother at the very least especially if they had already done everything, and Amor would take full advantage of that.

"So what happens when we destroy it?" He asked the other curiously as he made his way over to tear the PokeGear to pieces.

Zev recalled the strange experience.[break][break]

"Destroying the workshop reveals that this place is in a large, glass tank." He gestured to their surroundings with a sweeping hand. "And there were people watching from outside it and clapping."[break][break]

The scene hadn't disturbed him any more than a horror movie would, but he certainly hadn't been expecting it.[break][break]

Without another word to Amor, Zev opened a Pokéball to summon his Nidoking. "Tear this place apart," was the cold command.[break][break]

The Pokémon rumbled in answer before turning sharp claws to the walls and pulling the metal plates down.[break][break]

He listened to Zev Harcourt's explanation of what was going home, and Amor was disconcerted. Was this entire thing just a set up to some Truman Show esque experience? Who were the people behind the glass? So when he saw Zev summon his Nidoking, Amor's Dragonite appeared, and began to help annihilate this place. Together they made short work of it, and soon enough there was teh glass box that they were trapped in.

"Even knowing it's coming....It doesn't feel good to feel like a hamster...." The clapping just felt more mocking than congratulatory, and it irked him. "I'll give you something to clap about...." With a tilt of his head Draco blitzed the glass, and smashed into it with a powerful Fire Punch, but the moment the cracks began to form, and it shattered away, the falling glass became code, and the area around them warped. A new scene was in front of them a man that seemed to be defending Mt. Chimney, and Amor frowned.

He didn't know this one....

"Which scenario do you recommend?" Amor assumed Zev had done this one twice at the very least.

Peace, or Violence....What a choice.

When Amor's Dragonite smashed at the glass, Zev's Nidoking did too. The Beast hated the idea of being stuck in a cage like some lab Rattata in an experiment.[break][break]

When the glass shattered, however, he found himself at the top of Mt. Pyre once more. The man facing down him and Amor was the same one as always.[break][break]

"I've killed him every time so far," Zev said. Beside him, Nidoking rumbled, ready to fight. "But if you want, we can see what happens if we help him. It would be useful for collecting data."[break][break]

The assassin knew the importance of gathering as much information as possible before making a real choice.[break][break]

This simulation was incredibly disorienting, and so when Zev said to help him he didn't object he could find out what happened in the other scenario later on, but for now they were attempting to stave off an invasion from the looks of it. Though there was an interesting tidbit of information from him in that Moltres had sided with Rocket....Was that a prediction of things to come? Rocket already had Zapdos potentially, but not Moltres....Amor knew the avatar of Articuno, they were aligned with the League. That could be a problem, buf if they could secure the other two then the odds would be more in their favor.

Though he had no further time to contemplate that before they were sucked into the next part. It was disorienting to say the very least, and now they were on a spaceship, and he groaned as the ship rocked back, and forth. Looking outside he saw what appeared to be a giant hand crunching into their vessel.

"What the--" He was interrupted by the ship shaking, and he didn't even ask this time as his began to spring into action. Already his Dragonite was by his side, and they were tearing off to the place of the ship where they might be able to repel it. "I'm not gonna get sucked into the vacuum of space by a hand....!" He yelled back at Zev Harcourt as he began to try, and seal off the portion of the ship that was being damaged, with the emergency doors.

Amor had no idea if the space outside was real or not, but he certainly wasn't going to find out, by getting jettisoned into it.

Zev raised an eyebrow at the volcano guardian's comment. Did the stranger mean Zapdos by the words "Moltres' cousin"? That made the most sense, considering that Team Rocket had access to Zapdos through former Head Scientist oscar clayton's hard work.[break][break]

Or maybe the stranger meant something else—perhaps Articuno, who Zev knew through the meeting at the Cave of Origin was estranged from its Avatar.[break][break]

But he did not have a chance to ask the Kindler, for the scene changed once more. Zev recognized the interior of the spaceship and the massive, clawed hand that tore through it. Once more, the alarm lights flashed red.[break][break]

"Then we fight," Zev said, agreeing with Amor. After all, he hadn't picked that option for this scenario yet.[break][break]
